20 Year Anniversary of GRAND FLOORS Ltd.

Being in Barrie for 20 years, Grand Floors Ltd. knows how important it is to provide our customers with a full service package. Our total experience span is over 25 years. We started our business in Europe (Poland)
in 1978, learning our skills from the best craftsmen in the European market. After immigrating to Canada in 1987, we opened our new business immediately and called it Grand Floors Ltd. We continued to learn how
to provide the best service for the Canadian market place based on our European experience.
From 1987 to 1990 our division offered services for southern Ontario, mostly the Greater Toronto area, Barrie & Simcoe County.
These services included installation, sanding & finishing new floors and also resanding & refinishing old floors & stairs.
After opening a store in Barrie (May) 1990, we've expanded our services to a new division that supplies prefinished hardwood flooring and accessories.
In the mid 90's, we've added prefinished trim, mouldings and prefinished stairs.
Beginning in the new century, we've expanded yet again. Grand Floors now offers additional products like elegant mouldings, wall panellings and wainscotting.

SERVICES OFFERED BY GRAND FLOORS Ltd. IN 2007

1. PREFINISHED & UNFINISHED HARDWOOD FLOORING,
llllLAMINATES, CORK & BAMBOO:

		Remove and dispose old vinyl flooring, carpet, pad & staples.
		Rescrewing squeaky subfloor, leveling uneven subfloor.
		Install new spruce plywood, underpad, cork.
		Install pref. hardwood, laminates, cork and engineered (nail, glue, float, click, etc.).
		Install unfinished hardwood (any species & size) and sanding & finishing.
		Install custom borders, frames & designs.
		Install nosings, thresholds, reducers, transitions, etc.

2. TRIM, MOULDINGS, WALL PANELLING:

		Remove and dispose old trim & mouldings.
		Widening doorways & archways.
		Install new casings, baseboards, crown mouldings & chair rails.
		Install new strappings, wall panellings & wainscotting.
		Install new jams & re-install doors.
		Install quarter round, baseshoe & door stoppers.

3. STAIRS & RAILINGS:

		Remove and dispose old carpet, staples, trim & old iron railing.
		Remove and reinstall existing railings.
		Leveling old stairs & eliminating squeaks.
		Install new treads, risers, stringers & corner beads.
		Install new nosings (straight & curved).
		Install new spindles, posts & handrails.

4. RESANDING, REFINISHING & REPAIRS:

		Repair old strips & plank flooring (matching species & grades).
		Resanding and refinishing old hardwood & softwood floors.
		Applying custom match stains & finishes.
		Rebuffing and recoating old & new floors.
		Resanding and refinishing old stairs & railings.
		Heavy resanding of painted floors.

5. DO - IT - YOURSELF RENTALS:

		With every purchase of hardwood flooring you will receive FREE RENTAL of BOSTITCH stapler.
		With every purchase of prefinished mouldings you will receive FREE RENTAL of PASLODE brad nailer.

6. ACCESSORIES & SUPPLIES:

		Unfinished strip flooring, 3/8" x 1 3/4" & 1 1/2" (available in Oak & Maple).
		Wax paper for hardwood, variety of foams & underlay cork.
		Nails & staples.
		Glues & adhesives.
		Water Base Finishes from BONAKEMI (Most recomended-MEGA finish)
		Applicators, & Refills.
		Installation Kits, Video Tapes & Instructions.
